Dan,

I am a first time listener, who stumbled on to your VoIP Security Presentation on IP Telephony for Government Conference. This was a good presentation and I found it very informative.

I’ am an Information Security consultant in the UK, who for some while, been speculate on the impact of data and voice convergence. Your show has reminded not to loose sight of this area and to pay the same attention to VOIP as we do with data and control procedures.

I will try to joining your show on the 8th and also outraging colleagues to listen in.

Regards

Terrence

Terrence,

Glad you enjoyed the presentation and that it was helpful.

FYI, I'm back in the office on the 8th and Jonathan and I will be recording probably on the 9th... so a new show is probably up on the 10th or 11th. (We are trying to get to a regular day for posting, but we aren't there yet.)

Regards,
Dan

Why "Blue Box"?

  • We chose the name "Blue Box" primarily as a nod to the era of phone phreaking in part to illustrate that threats to telephony are not new - they just continue to change and evolve. That and admittedly the name just sounded cool.
